Cold Brew

Parameters:

  1. Coffee to Water Ratio: Generally, a common ratio is 1:4 (coffee to water). Adjust this according to your taste preferences.
  2. Coffee Grind: Coarse grind is preferable to prevent over-extraction.
  3. Brewing Time: Cold brew machines usually require 12 to 24 hours of steeping time for optimal flavor extraction.

Procedure:

  1. Grind your coffee beans to a coarse consistency, resembling breadcrumbs.
  2. Fill the cold brew machine's water reservoir with cold, filtered water.
  3. Place the coarse coffee grounds in the designated compartment or filter of the cold brew machine.
  4. Adjust the coffee-to-water ratio based on your desired strength.
  5. Activate the brewing process on your cold brew machine. This might involve pressing a button or setting a timer.
  6. Allow the coffee grounds to steep in the cold water for the recommended time, usually between 12 to 24 hours.
  7. Once the steeping is complete, the machine will usually have a built-in filtration system. Some machines have a built-in mesh or paper filter, while others might require you to remove the grounds manually.
  8. Open the cold brew container or dispenser to collect your cold brew concentrate. This concentrated coffee can be diluted with water or milk before serving, depending on your preference.
  9. Pour the cold brew concentrate over ice and add water, milk, or any desired flavorings to create your perfect cup of cold brew coffee.
