SUMATRA YUME
BREWING METHOD: Espresso, AeroPress
BREWING TEMPERATURE: 93°C
BREWING RATIO: 14g : 28 ml / 14g : 200 ml
A.) Manual Espresso
- Begin by heating water to around 200°F (93°C).
- Grind your coffee beans to a fine consistency, and measure out the desired amount of grounds. The recommended ratio is 1:2, so for every 1 gram of coffee, use 2 grams of water.
- Place the coffee grounds in the portafilter, and tamp them down using a tamper.
- Attach the portafilter to the Flair Pro 2 and pull the lever down to begin the brewing process.
- As the coffee begins to brew, it will be dispensed into your mug or cup.
- Once the desired amount of coffee has been brewed, release the lever and remove the portafilter.
B.) AeroPress
- Grind your coffee to medium-fine grind.
- Heat your water to boiling, set it to 194°F to 203 °F(90°C-95°C).
- Pull plunger to separate entirely from chamber
- Put filter (paper or metal) in filter cap.
- Twist filter cap onto chamber.
- Stand chamber on sturdy mug and add 14 g pf coffee. Shake gently to level.
- Add 200 g of water on chamber.
- Stir gently for 10 seconds. Insert plunger into chamber. Let it sit for 30 seconds.
- Apply gentle constant pressure (not too hard). It's normal to feel some resistance. However too much resistance means your coffee grind is probably too fine.
- Remove filter cap then push the plunger through until you heat the pop and the coffee grounds pop out.
