A) Manual Espresso
- Begin by heating water to around 200°F (93°C).
- Grind your coffee beans to a fine consistency, and measure out the desired amount of grounds. The recommended ratio is 1:2, so for every 1 gram of coffee, use 2 grams of water.
- Place the coffee grounds in the portafilter, and tamp them down using a tamper.
- Attach the portafilter to the Flair Pro 2 and pull the lever down to begin the brewing process.
- As the coffee begins to brew, it will be dispensed into your mug or cup.
- Once the desired amount of coffee has been brewed, release the lever and remove the portafilter.
B) AeroPress
- Grind your coffee to medium-fine grind.
- Heat your water to boiling, set it to 194°F to 203 °F(90°C-95°C).
- Pull plunger to separate entirely from chamber
- Put filter (paper or metal) in filter cap.
- Twist filter cap onto chamber.
- Stand chamber on sturdy mug and add 14 g pf coffee. Shake gently to level.
- Add 200 g of water on chamber.
- Stir gently for 10 seconds. Insert plunger into chamber. Let it sit for 30 seconds.
- Apply gentle constant pressure (not too hard). It's normal to feel some resistance. However too much resistance means your coffee grind is probably too fine.
- Remove filter cap then push the plunger through until you heat the pop and the coffee grounds pop out.
C) Pour-Over
- Boil water and let it cool for about 30 seconds to reach around 194°F to 203 °F(90°C-95°C).
- Place the Pour-Over paper filter in the dripper and rinse it with hot water to preheat and eliminate any paper taste. Discard the rinse water.
- Weigh and grind coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency, similar to sea salt.
- Place the Pour-Over on the scale and add the ground coffee.
- Start the timer and pour hot water in a circular motion to saturate the coffee grounds evenly. Allow the coffee to bloom for 30 seconds.
- Begin pouring water slowly in a circular motion, maintaining a consistent flow rate. Pour in small increments, working from the center outward and back.
- Continue pouring until you reach your desired coffee-to-water ratio. Aim for a total brew time of 2 to 2.5 minutes.
- Once the coffee has fully dripped through the Pour-Over, lift off the dripper and discard the used filter and coffee grounds.
- Swirl the brewed coffee in your mug or carafe to mix the flavors.
- Taste and savor your coffee, noting its aroma, flavor profile, and characteristics.
D) French Press
- Grind your coffee beans. You need a medium coarse sized grind in order to get a full extraction from your coffee.
- Pre-Heat your French press with warm water and disregard after.
- And your coffee and fill it up with boiling water.
- Wait for 4 minutes, give it a stir to allow the grounds to settle.
- Anything left on top after this, you want to scrape away and wait for another 3 minutes.
- After 3 minutes, all the coffee should sink to the bottom. It’s time to plunge but do it gently and don’t touch any of the grounds settled at the bottom.

E) Cold Brew
- Grind your coffee beans to a coarse consistency, resembling breadcrumbs.
- Fill the cold brew machine's water reservoir with cold, filtered water.
- Place the coarse coffee grounds in the designated compartment or filter of the cold brew machine.
- Adjust the coffee-to-water ratio based on your desired strength.
- Activate the brewing process on your cold brew machine. This might involve pressing a button or setting a timer.
- Allow the coffee grounds to steep in the cold water for the recommended time, usually between 12 to 24 hours.
- Once the steeping is complete, the machine will usually have a built-in filtration system. Some machines have a built-in mesh or paper filter, while others might require you to remove the grounds manually.
- Open the cold brew container or dispenser to collect your cold brew concentrate. This concentrated coffee can be diluted with water or milk before serving, depending on your preference.
- Pour the cold brew concentrate over ice and add water, milk, or any desired flavorings to create your perfect cup of cold brew coffee.
